Glimpses of Kesari 2: A burning Akshay Kumar tells us that nothing comes before the country - watch video!

One of the greatest military operations in the history of India was the Battle of Saragarhi. It is coming alive on the big screen next month when Akshay Kumar - Parineeti Chopra's Kesari hits the screens. The film is releasing on March 21, 2o19. Today, the production house is unveiling looks and small teasers of the films. A new video has been unveiled where we see a burning soldier coming out to face the tribe of Afghan warriors. The Battle of Saragarhi is known for the valour of the 36th Sikh Regiment. A group of 21 soldiers had defended the Northwest Frontier from a marauding army of 1o,000 Afghans.

Akshay Kumar plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the film. Parineeti Chopra is his love interest in the film. Parineeti Chopra had earlier told IANS, "I really wanted to work with Akshay Sir from a really long time. I think this is the perfect film because he is Punjabi and he feels for the subject that the movie is based on. It’s going to be a mammoth film, so I am very excited to start shooting of Kesari."
