After PUBG ban, Rajkot Police Arrest 10 People for Playing the Game

Well known online multiplayer game PUBG Mobile was prohibited in Rajkot and now the police have really arrested 10 individuals, six of them are students, for playing PUBG.

Police Commissioner Manoj Agrawal said in an announcement that the wrongdoing is a bailable offense.

The police say, “were playing the game at tea stalls and fast-food joints outside a school on Kalavad street. We have recorded six unique cases of evidence against them.”

This comes after a 6 March notification that had prohibited PUBG and the MOMO challenge. Police Commissioner Manoj Agarwal disclosed that 12 cases have been enrolled since the 6 March notice.

“The notification falls in two parts. One is the person who is playing the game is liable for notification violation. At the same time, people who are aware that they are playing PUBG and still not communicating this to the authorities are also liable for an equal amount of violation.
