The Dabangg star of Bollywood, Salman Khan is an actor, who is known for machoism in the entertainment industry. In his career-span of almost 3 decades, the 53-year old star has done some great action-packed films, which made him an undisputed champion in this genre. With the Tiger franchise, Bodyguard, Race 3, Dabangg and Wanted, he has taken his stardom to another level. But you'll be surprised to know that despite being known for his portrayal in action films, the actor has done more of romantic films in his career.

Salman Khan has shown us various shades of his iconic screen name Prem but we loved him the most as the romantic and adorable Prem in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Interestingly, all these films were directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Apart from these popular films, we have some underrated gems of Salman which deserve a watch this Valentine's Day. The list starts with Love, Hum Dil Deke Chuke Sanam, Baaghi: A Rebel for Love, Sanam Bewafa, Saajan, Patthar Ke Phool, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Dil Tera Aashiq, Khamoshi: The Musical, Jeet, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Jaanam Samjha Karo, Biwi No 1 and it goes on.

However, in recent times, we have not seen Salman Khan doing an out-and-out romantic film. His upcoming venture Bharat has the core plot of a man going on a journey to search his father. With Katrina in it, the period drama will have an element of romance in it but not as a whole. And post that, he will start Dabangg 3, which is again a masala actioner with the combo of comedy and raw stunts. Well, we hope Salman will soon return in his romantic avatar on the big canvas and recreate magic.
