Full name : Thato Thabo Sibanda

Date of birth : 15 April 1995

Thato Sibanda better known by his stage name, TTGO, is a 22 year old musician and Hip hop rapper hailing from Pretoria, South Africa who’s music has been described as “the new wave of South African hip hop” by Khan, PXY magazine.

Coming from a family that has no previous musical history his musical journey has become almost inseparable from his life journey and having seen a lot of life's dualities from his family being poor to being upper middle class, living in the ghetto of Seshego to the plush suburbs of Pretoria east and being a extremely introverted child to a bubbly extroverted young adult he translates these experiences through his music with a wide spectrum of genre’s ranging from mellow jazz influenced hip hop to up-tempo alternative and trap music.

TTGO’s claim to national fame was through his appearance on the second season of Vuzu Tv’s (M-Net channel) hit reality hip hop show ‘The Hustle’ (April - June 2017) where he placed 4th overall and received much praise for his ability to entertain above and beyond being a rapper. He has also released a music video (June 2017) for his single ‘Mfana Pitori’ ( 40 000 + youtube streams) which is enjoying playlisting on TV stations such as Channel O, Trace Africa and more. Shortly after He released his follow up single titled Gorgeous boasting more than 6000 downloads.

TTGO has been involved in Global campaigns with prominent brand such as adidas.

The ICON TANGO campaign launched globally by adidas ( July 2017) saw them launch a range of urban wear in collaboration with Orlando Pirates for which TTGO’s photographic likeness and social media influence was used to promote the product to millions around the world. TTGO’s images were chosen and published on the adidas football official page (21 million followers), on soccer bible ( 4,8 million followers) and GQ South Africa just to name a few.

TTGO has graced the cover of popular hip hop magazine The Plug in the November 2017 issue which was in collaboration with Steers as part of the Respek Nation Series.

TT has played a centre piece role in the rebranding and return of classic brands such as Champion by giving them a whole new look and appeal to target audiences.
